new Apple imacs & laptops are here!

Finally, the updated laptops are in! There are two varieties: everyday laptops (M1 processors) and iMacs and much more powerful laptops (M1 Pro and M1 Max processors). The everyday laptops come in 13 inch size and the more powerful ones come in 14 and 16 inch sizes. iMacs are currently only available with the everyday processor— the M1 chip.

So far I have helped about 4 clients setup new M1 Macbook Pros and it has gone really smoothly. The computers are working great with no weird problems reported so far (it’s been a little less than a year so far). Even the everyday laptops and iMacs are super powerful and still “reasonably” priced.

The more powerful iMacs have not come out yet and probably won’t this year. We are all hoping for them to come out by mid-year 2022. So if you are waiting for those, hold on, they are coming. I am going to upgrade to a more powerful 14 inch Macbook Pro soon.
